The Pinot Noir and Gamay in this cuvée are from 100% estate grown grapes, expertly grown by our vineyard manager, Netanya Welch. Under the careful direction of our winemaker, John Faulkner, our grapes are fermented slowly with gentle extraction, and aged for 9 months in older barrels until bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with minimal sulfites.
The Evening Land Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir draws its strength and character from the iron rich clay ubiquitous throughout our vineyards; while our eastern exposure protects our grapes from the hot afternoon sun, preserving freshness on the palate. We recommend serving this wine gently chilled. It will pair with a wide range of cuisines.
